Who we are

hill35.com is operated by Fusemate LLC in New Braunfels, TX 78130. This policy covers what we collect on Hill35, why, and who processes it for us.

What we collect

Browsing: nothing tied to you. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies that identify you, no account needed.

Accounts: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password, plus timestamps of when you accepted the Terms and were subscribed to the newsletter.

Claiming a listing: we verify ownership by sending a one-time code to the phone number already published on the listing, or by matching your verified email domain to the business website. We record the outcome. We never ask for a new phone number to verify against.

Business listings: the business details you add or edit. Listings are public by design; business contact details shown on a profile are published because the tier permits it, and unclaimed listings are compiled from public sources.

Payments: handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers. We keep the subscription status Stripe reports to us.

Forms: what you type into the contact or corrections form, so we can act on it and reply.

How we use it

To run the directory, verify ownership claims, bill memberships, send the transactional email the service needs (verification links, receipts, claim updates), and send the Hill 35 newsletter. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

The newsletter

Claiming or adding a listing subscribes you to the Hill 35 newsletter as part of the claim. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your listing or account.

Who processes it for us

We run on a small set of service providers, each getting only what its job needs: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Beehiiv (the newsletter), Cloudflare (spam protection, media storage, and DNS), Twilio (the one-time verification codes), and Google (live business ratings shown from Google's own data).

Cookies

We set cookies only to keep you logged in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention and your choices

We keep account data while the account exists and business records while the listing is published. Email us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to close your account. Listing corrections and removals go through the corrections form, no account needed. Hill35 is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact
